During the 1600s, traveling was never the easiest, so the travel to Acadia was really not that easy. The trip would have taken months for ship, which was probably the fastest transportation that time. They would have faced many obstacles during the journey, like storms, sickness, diseases. Scurvy was a common illness which would have probably wipe out half of the crew (Pioneers and Immigrants).
